HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. Of course, it also has the added benefit of more mature content being allowed. Still! Nothing is confirmed. If you have any thoughts or opinions, please let me know!

hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

It feels nigh impossible not to wiggle his digits. He looks down at his feet to scrutinize what he’s wearing, those water shoe… sandal… things with the individual toes, the kind of footwear that gets you edged out of polite company to the soundtrack of collective groaning. These things were unsightly, sure, but they were useful for traversing the beach.

It was nighttime, and dark, save for the beaming of the moon, and nearby street lights. Alex walks along the beach, casual and easy, his eyes sharp; there was still room on his team, pokeballs he owned that remained empty. Slateport beach was prime real estate for water and fairy type mons (the latter being his favorite). It was time to catch some.

Blue body, yellow antennas. A lone clauncher scuttles into sight. It’s cute, it its own way, but it isn’t exactly the kind of addition Alex was thinking of when it came to his active roster. Their paths, lit up by the stars in the sky, and adorned by the grains of sand that made up the beach, cross only for a brief moment. Clauncher passes by, and Alex continues onward, his eyes on the lookout for a more fitting catch for the night.

Alex stops in his tracks, the uneven terrain of sand shifting slightly under his feet. In his sights is a fairy type he didn’t own yet. Something to be amended, as far as he was concerned. ”Let’s make this quick and, relatively, painless.” he whispers to himself

Not wasting a second, Alex pulls out a pokeball and tosses it into the air in one swift motion; a beam of light reveals his Gardevoir and a simple pair of commands follow. ”Teena, hypnosis and dream eater.”

Concentrated psychic energy lulls the wild comfey into deep sleep, and dream eater weakens it, just for good measure. Alex tosses an empty ball at the pokemon, and it shakes, of course, but resistance seems next to minimal. Comfey was his.

Alex collects the ball he used to capture his new friend, and looks at it, proud and lovingly, for a moment before moving on.
